You may recall that I blogged about reporting two bugs a couple of weeks ago. The Microsoft one hasn’t got any traction… well, I didn’t expect much really.

The Mozilla one, however, has. I reported bug 385649 a couple of weeks back, and I now know that this issue is going to get fixed, as the Mozilla developers have set the blocking1.9 flag to + – meaning that a bug I reported is going to be fixed in Firefox 3!

Makes me feel good. Just another way to help in an Open Source Project. I will be able to open Fx 3 when it is released and think, I helped, in a very small way!

I know, I’m sad…

As many of you may know, I’m quite a fanatic of using pre-release software, like Firefox 3 alphas and Windows Live OneCare betas and what not, but I never thought I’d be filing bugs others have seen.

That changed today, I actually had to file, not one, but two bugs, one for OneCare (just more of a gripe really), and one (more tangible and more reproducible) bug on what will be Firefox 3 – https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=385649. So, when Fx 3 finally comes out, I can say that I played my part in it… in a very small, yet significant way!

Well, now I need someone to fix the bugs… ah well!
